On a recent episode of Dancing with the Stars, Brandy admitted that it's been quite some time since she's been intimate with a man. Now, the pop star is opening up as to why she's made the decision to take a break from sex.
"I haven't been with a man seriously and in love in six years," Brandy says in the new issue of Life & Style Weekly. "And, honestly, I tend to abstain if I'm not in a relationship."
The singer isn't exactly saying that it's been a full six years of celibacy, but she says "it's been a long time. We're talking years."
Earlier this year, Brandy struck up a romance with rapper Flo Rida, but things ended just a few months later.
"I was very interested in him," she revealed. "I mean, how can you not be -- he's very attractive. But there was just something about us that didn't click."
In the meantime, Brandy says she's not discouraged and that she's still looking for Mr. Right.
"I actually went on a blind date a couple months ago that was very interesting but nothing serious," she says.
