Justices Rule Ministers Exempt From Anti-Bias Laws
In a unanimous and groundbreaking decision Wednesday, the Supreme Court ruled that ministers can be fired without regard to civil rights laws. But on the more difficult question of determining who is a minister, the court was equivocal, saying that would have to be determined on a case-by-case basis.
